WHO YOU’LL WORK WITHBased in London, as the Entertainment and Celebrity Relationship Lead, you will be part of the Global Entertainment and Celebrity Partnerships team, the team responsible for management of the relationships with entertainers, stylists, models and fashion/style leadersPart of the Global Entertainment and Celebrity Partnerships function, reporting directly to the Director of Entertainment and Celebrity Partnerships, also based in London, and ultimately reporting into a Global Center of Excellence. In this role you work with the Energy & City teams, cross functionally particularly with Brand Management and Sports Marketing, aligning roles & responsibilities, to bring your relationships and the brand management plans to life. And you will of course build very strong external relationships with key cultural leaders in the city.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are looking for an experienced and talented relationship manager with immense passion for lifestyle culture and strong connection to cultural leaders in London and the African diaspora. You are brand guardians who are curious, connected,  active participants in various subculture communities. You see unique opportunities to take risks, expand perception, celebrate brand values, accelerate the business and advance the notion of sport culture through thought provoking intersections with cultural leaders. A relationship manager who is deliberate in strategically pushing boundaries, to incubate, test and build new space for Nike and sport, when others may not see the opportunity. You will contribute to the start of the chain reaction culturally.

  • Proven connections with influential cultural and thought leaders (Music, stylists, models, streamers, fashion/style trendsetters) in London and the African diaspora, validated by external cultural leaders in London & connected to youth culture
  • Essential to have experience in identifying and building powerful long-term relationships, which delivers success for both the talent the business
  • Experience in category, brand or account management, able to define and understand the full spectrum of the city and visionary consumer and a desire to better connect with them through your relationships
  • Strong knowledge of entertainment, style/fashion trendsetters and pop culture
  • Passion & love for the Nike brand
  • Proven track record of managing, servicing and leveraging high profile cultural influencer relationships which delivers success to both parties
  • Brand Management – Timely and effective brand plans for catalysts to ensure optimum service and maximum leverage
  • Cultural Acumen – Strong experience, understanding and ability to navigate the cultural landscape, translating that into breakthrough Cultural Influencer x Nike intersections.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ONThe shape of your day-to-day work will vary significantly, and therefore your style and influence will have to adapt accordingly. You must be consistently collaborative and open to the opinions and expertise of those you engage with.

  • Drive and maintain a powerful network and portfolio of cultural leaders, to keep Nike relevant in popular culture & energize the brand, providing outstanding service to these relationships
  • Identifying new and innovative opportunities for NIKE within the cultural landscape
  • Expand our reach, presence and visibility with relevant cultural leaders
  • Oversee all aspects of these relationships and their projects end to end, including serving as the primary point of contact for all communications
  • Gather structured and continuous insights from the talent to allow us to better serve the enterprise needs, and input into strategic planning, marketing plans and overall management of the project. This includes gathering insights from the talent related to their product preferences to inform our seeding approach
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution into our brand campaigns and any talent-generated content deliverables.
  • Actively keep a pulse on emerging talent & trends through channels e.g. Instagram, TikTok
  • Where product creation is included in the partnership plan, stay in lock step with product teams to ensure all projects are tracking in the right direction
