We partner with internal cross-functional teams and customers to provide services from exploration through to production.

Take ownership for industry leading projects

You will focus on the Hydraulic Fracture Mapping sector of the Microseismic business.You will liaise with clients to prepare for and process projects. You will work with the rest of the Microseismic team providing technical support. 

As a Lead Engineer Geoservices - Borehole Seismic, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing borehole seismic projects as required from Pre-Survey design work through to final reporting and presentation to the client.
  • Working on survey types from zero offset vertical borehole surveys up to 3DVSP surveys.
  • Engaging with the Borehole seismic experts around the world for high end survey to make sure projects are completed smoothly in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining a good relationship with the local acquisition team and assist in survey planning and execution, attending relevant meetings internally and externally.
  • Promoting Borehole Seismic and upselling high-end products.
  • Assisting Microseismic team with daily permanent processing and Hydraulic Fracture mapping.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a BSc. or MSc. in Geoscience or related earth science discipline or Petroleum Engineering.
  • Have significant experience in borehole seismic processing and client contact.
  • Be composed presenting processing products and talking about technical subjects with clients and internally.
  • Have experience of DAS to promote the use of this technology with clients.
  • Have experience with Microseismic permanent and Hydraulic Fracture Mapping would be a benefit but not essential.
