Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a LeadGen Specialist to join our team in the UK! The LeadGen Specialist will be a member of the LeadGen team within Broadridge’s Global Sales, Marketing and Solutions Organization reporting to the Head of International Lead Generation. This individual in this role will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline. You will work closely with the sales and marketing team to ensure that our company’s sales goals are met.

Responsibilities

  • Match Broadridge products and services with client pain points, using comprehensive knowledge and proof points to explain how our solutions meet customer needs
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives in next steps
  • Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook
  • Utilize Salesforce, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with prospective customers
  • Track progress towards meeting sales goals
  • Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activities
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
  • Attend networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software
  • Multi-lingual preferred (German and French will be an advantage)
  • Experience in client services, or sales support role a plus
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information effectively over the phone; the ability to clearly articulate a message to attract attention and buy-in. Must also effectively communicate in writing
  • Ability to influence others, and persuade them to change their minds or behavior; The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand and change their perspective and/or consider other perspectives
  • Ability to demonstrate active listening. Take time to understand the points being made by others, ask questions as appropriate and not interrupt at inappropriate times
  • Must be service oriented and demonstrate capability to actively look for ways to help
  • Ability to deal with rejection and be persistent in the face of pushback
