WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US

In our role as a well-established leader within our industry, we are focused on shifting from a traditional enterprise software approach to a technology-enabled services framework, while ensuring a continued trajectory of healthy profits. To further support, enable and drive this journey we're expanding our Product Partnerships function and are now recruiting for a Senior Ecosystem Partner Specialist to join our team. 

This role will be central to increasing inflow and onboarding of new commercial partnerships with fintech startups, scaleups and established software and service vendors. We curate ecosystem partners who provide leading or innovative workflow solutions complementing SimCorp’s own offering to optimize for time to market and to allow us to focus our R&D capacity in fewer areas.  

The role reports to the Global Head of Product Partnerships and will be part of a small but impactful team working with stakeholders across all parts of the organization. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Engage with candidate partners to capture what they do or could do for SimCorp clients 
  • Build and maintain vendor maps for individual functional domains to drive curation 
  • Develop joint value propositions with candidate partners 
  • Involve Product and Commercial stakeholders to confirm fit, interest and potential 
  • Structure proposals with clearly documented assumptions 
  • Negotiate partnership agreements in collaboration with leadership and legal counsel 
  • Coordinate due diligence and information security review process pre and post signature 
  • Educate and motivate salesforce together with Product and Commercial 
  • Drive referenceability of clients adopting a partner 
  • Liaise with Operational Finance and review invoices 

WHAT WE VAULE

  • At least 5 years of experience with the buy-side investment management value chain 
  • Proficient ability to quickly understand and articulate salient aspects in a new functional domain 
  • Commercial experience (presales, sales, sales enablement) is beneficial
  • Product management or technical software experience is beneficial
  • Capable analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex problems in a structured manner and break them into relevant and actionable insights 
  • Highly disciplined and structured project management, and stakeholder orchestration skills 
  • Proficient research, writing, listening, and verbal communication capabilities 
  • Great collaborative skills and ability to maneuver a large organization and form trusting relationships
