Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

DePuy Synthes, a market-leading Medical Devices business within Johnson & Johnson, has an outstanding opportunity for a Lead Financial Analyst within the MedTech Principal Operations (MTPO). Seeking an enthusiastic self driven individual who reporting into the Finance Manager will support Orthopaedics Business Unit Finance team separation activities moving to newco Depuy Synthes in Mid 2027.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Project role collaborating with A&D and Osprey separation team.

  • Represent BUF team in all separation activities and co-ordinate separation activities between A&D Project team and BUF base business team.

  • Support all activities from a principal operations perspective to enable stand alone operations under Depuy Synthes post Separation.

  • Key focus areas on Inventory, reserves, Affiliate Gross profit, profit in inventory, Intercompany pricing and Currency impacts.

  • Collaborating closely with WW Finance business partners on Orthopaedics and aligning on future state of financial reporting post separation.

  • Maintaining the highest compliance standards and assisting in audit and SOX compliance testing.

  • Driving improvements and challenging established norms and processes in post separation activities. Clean slate mindset approach.

  • Taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications and ExperienceEssential:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant

Desirable:
  • 3+ years of relevant multinational experience

  • Supply chain finance experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry an advantage

  • Proven track record in business partnering

  • Proven track record in dealing with project teams.
