Team/Role Overview

IRIS is a new product line that has been built out of Citi’s Financial Resource Management Technology to support and enhance Citi’s loan hedging capabilities on CDS (Credit Default Swaps) and CLO (Collateralized Loan Obligation). We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven Sr. Business Analyst at VP level to join our exciting and fast-paced team, to work with our business clients, development team and data services across multiple international locations on exciting new and enhancement projects.

What you’ll do

  • Be an effective liaison between Product Development & Innovation (PDI) and Development team
  • Organize and host business requirements sessions with PDI,
  • Authorize requirement document including data specifications based on PDI's prototype, sample data and formulas
  • Organize and host business requirements walkthroughs with PDI, Development and Quality Assurance (QA) team
  • Provide support/clarifications to Development and QA team on inquiries on requirements
  • Create application user guide
  • Provide testing support when required

What we’ll need from you

  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst, ideally in a Financial Services environment across complex environments
  • Fundamental SQL experience/skills – tables & joins, distinct, grouping, case when etc
  • Visio – basic flow chart, process diagram, UML experience nice to have
  • Data Analysis – data mapping, translation and transformation
  • Excel – able to understand formulas and document them in plain English with sample data
  • JIRA & Confluence experience
  • Capital Markets experience and knowledge, such as Loans  / Facilities / CDS derivatives, Credit Risk would be a plus
  • Strong communication skills to effectively build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
