Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Logistics UK and industry audits, ensuring accuracy and objectivity.
  • Review prior audit data to identify key focus areas.
  • Carry out systematic audits with thorough sampling for informed decisions.
  • Gather information through effective interviewing, document analysis, and observations.
  • Produce detailed and accurate reports within agreed timelines.
  • Support colleagues across the department and provide consultancy services when required.
Requirements
  • Qualified & Experienced – Logistics auditor training completed and/or previous auditing experience.
  • Industry Knowledge – Experience in the transport or logistics sector.
  • Certifications – Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Road Haulage or Passenger Transport (or currently studying towards one).
  • Attention to Detail – Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent Communicator – Ability to interview, listen, and engage effectively.
  • Independent & Objective – Self-motivated with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Organised & Efficient – Strong planning skills to manage workload effectively.
  • Customer-Focused – Dedicated to delivering high standards and professionalism.
  • It would be beneficial for all applicants to hold an Earned Recognition and FORS qualification.
