Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience (15+ years) in Tax transformation with significant SAP involvement.
- Proven experience in multiple SAP implementation projects (Indirect AND/OR Direct Tax focus).
- Experience in tax technology implementation including requirements gathering, design, build, and testing
- Significant experience in tax project and product management in a lead role with a successful track record utilising best practice tools and techniques.
- In-depth experience with tax technical concepts in both indirect and direct tax contexts..
- Excellent strategic and analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
- Strong understanding of global tax rules (Indirect and/or Direct).
- Deep knowledge of relevant SAP functionalities eg, MM/FI/SD
- Ability to translate tax requirements into SAP solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven leadership qualities with experience in Agile methodologies, capable of navigating change and risk effectively.
- Exceptional stakeholder analysis and management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and drive cross-functional teamwork.
Desired Skills (Beneficial):
- Knowledge of tax technology solutions (tax engines – One Source, E-Invoicing, DRC, ACR).
- Experience with financial reporting processes in SAP.
- Familiarity with SAP tools (e.g., SAC, PaPM, Group Reporting).
