Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Application Developer to join our dynamic IT team at Allied World. In this role, you will assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of data solutions that support our insurance business. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, enjoys problem-solving, and has a passion for technology. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a supportive and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex data solutions that support business objectives. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals. - Architect scalable, efficient, data pipelines, data warehouses and data mesh solutions. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient scripts/SQL code following best practices and standards. - Mentor and guide junior data engineers, providing technical leadership and code reviews. - Drive the adoption of new technologies, tools, and processes to improve team productivity and system performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with other business systems. - Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
