We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Analytical Chemist to join our dynamic R&D group and drive our research projects forward. As a Lead Analytical Chemist, you will play a critical role in leading and executing analytical chemistry projects within the Home and Personal Care and Professional Hygiene R&D projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry and experience in a wide variety of analytical techniques and instrumentation. You will be responsible for developing and validating analytical methods, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our research results.
Essential Job Functions:

Lead and manage analytical chemistry projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.

Develop, validate and optimise analytical methods for the identification, quantification and characterization of specialty ingredient compounds.

Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of analytical data.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide analytical support for research and development and registration projects.

Maintain and optimise laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex analytical issues, providing innovative solutions.

Stay updated with industry trends and advancement in analytical technologies.
Qualifications & Experience:

Ph. D in Analytical Chemistry or related field and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Extensive knowledge of chromatography and spectroscopy techniques specifically HPLC and LC-MS.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
