We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Analytical Chemist to join our dynamic R&D group and drive our research projects forward. As a Lead Analytical Chemist, you will play a critical role in leading and executing analytical chemistry projects within the Home and Personal Care and Professional Hygiene R&D projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry and experience in a wide variety of analytical techniques and instrumentation. You will be responsible for developing and validating analytical methods, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our research results.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead and manage analytical chemistry projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.

  • Develop, validate and optimise analytical methods for the identification, quantification and characterization of specialty ingredient compounds.

  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of analytical data.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide analytical support for research and development and registration projects.

  • Maintain and optimise laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex analytical issues, providing innovative solutions.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancement in analytical technologies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Ph. D in Analytical Chemistry or related field and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of chromatography and spectroscopy techniques specifically HPLC and LC-MS.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
