Company Description

At Wise, our mission is to achieve "Money Without Borders" — making financial transactions fast, convenient, transparent, and eventually free. Millions of people around the world use Wise to send, spend, hold, and receive money across multiple currencies.

Job Description

The Account Experience team owns the Wise Account logged-in experience for over 12 million customers as well as building core features like notifications and spending insights; their goal is to help customers to discover and adopt the full extent of the Wise Account.
Account Experience is part of a wider squad of teams who build key parts of the Wise Account like Wise Business and our investment products. You'll join a tight-knit team of analysts who work in these teams in addition to our wider team of analysts across Wise.

Qualifications

How you'll contribute:

  • Develop Wise’s understanding of Account customer needs and help turn these into reality by influencing product roadmaps.

  • Evaluate high impact opportunities, find ways to support & accelerate or identify and advocate for better alternatives.

  • Partner with your product manager, engineers and designer throughout the product development lifecycle to build and iterate product changes based on your insights

  • Build automated data pipelines and dashboards to minimise repetitive tasks and allow data self-serve.

  • Help your team understand their progress and communicate this outside of your team by defining and reporting on KPIs that measure what matters.

  • We expect to add teams to this problem space - this analyst will grow their responsibilities by helping to steer the new teams and has the potential to lead other analysts.

Must-haves:

  • Strong analytical thinking and data analysis skills (spreadsheets and SQL).

  • Excellent verbal and written communicator - you cut through the noise, communicating what matters in a way that people get it.

  • You can work independently in fast-paced environment (able to identify impactful projects and evaluate & triage inbound requests).

  • A/B testing experience (or good grasp of the required statistics).

  • Experience building and owning automated data pipelines using tools like dbt and airflow.

  • Hustle: you have a bias to action - you identify what needs to be done and make it happen.

  • Interest in leading other analysts and some relevant experience (leading/coaching/mentoring).

Nice-to-haves

  • Python (you’ll need this at some point but you can learn on the job).

  • Experience working with event data & tools (Mixpanel/Google Analytics/Amplitude etc).

  • Experience working in cross-functional software product teams.
