The L&D Specialist will be responsible for identifying, designing and delivering professional “best in class” L&D interventions to meet the developing needs of Group Functions; a population of 600 colleagues.
How you’ll help us make health happen:

Working with the L&D Manager to create best in class L&D programmes that accelerate reskilling and upskilling of our people to deliver on our strategy.

Designing and delivering blended learning and leadership development solutions for Group & Global audiences

Working with the L&D Manager and Global stakeholders to effectively plan and analyse requirements to ensure alignment with business priorities.

Working with internal comms to devise learning campaigns to drive engagement to digital learning platforms and strategically aligned initiatives.

Ownership of existing ‘coaching for all’ and ‘growth for all’ solutions, ensuring our people make the most of existing digital learning platforms by embedding a culture of self and leader directed learning and development.

Making data driven decisions when identifying training gaps and needs, ensuring the blended approach meets these needs and priorities.

Working with key stakeholders and internal customers to ensure solutions meet and exceed customer expectations.

Working with other market/business units in order to effectively utilise resources within the Bupa Group

Researching and managing external and internal suppliers for training design and delivery where required

Ensuring all solutions are designed and delivered in accordance with regulatory frameworks, internal competency frameworks, career & talent programmes and meet our brand guidelines.

Ensuring design and delivery of all interventions are achieved in line with agreed budgets, including all training expenditure.

Implementing and maintaining robust governance to ensure the continued accuracy & ROI of digital learning interventions.

Conducting a variety of measurement activities (e.g surveys, face-to-face feedback) to measure success and bring the “voice of the customer” into improvements to learning interventions.

Producing reporting and management information (MI) as required and agreed.

Conducting evaluation to ensure objectives are met, improvements are identified, value for money delivered and ROI.

Staying current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development, and continuously improving programs to enhance their effectiveness.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
-
Demonstrable (and recent) L&D experience within a demanding and pace-driven environment. Ideally with Healthcare, Financial Services or a Global blue-chip organisation.

You’ll have in depth learning and development knowledge, are able to both ‘create new’ and adapt known tools and techniques.

Strong digital design capabilities: you’ll be highly experienced using Articulate and preferably, Elucidate.

Highly experienced in facilitation; both face to face and virtual, with senior audience.

Thinks and acts strategically, as well as tactically; you’ll be confident demonstrating your strategic and operational L&D programme management experience.

Makes data driven decisions; you’ll confidently analyse data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training/learning programs.

Demonstrable planning and organisational skills, you’ll be comfortable working to deadlines and prioritising.
-
Is resilient and can comfortably and confidently navigate change and ambiguity.
-
Strong interpersonal skills: you can confidently build and maintain relationships with all levels.
-
Clear and engaging communication and presenting style.
-
Experienced in senior stakeholder management.

The ideal candidate will hold a level 5 CIPD; be an accredited Insights Discovery Practitioner and possess a coaching qualification.
