ROLE OF SOLUTIONS HUB SENIOR ASSOCIATE (WITH MAJOR IN ASSESSMENT)

The role of the solutions hub Senior Associate has the following responsibilities:

  • Works with the Methodologies Lead and the team on both the 1-2 year horizon and the 3+ year horizon, supporting the development, standardization and maintenance of state-of-the-art assessment methodologies and tools, ensuring they are and remain reliable, relevant and valid

  • Leads on workstreams and sprints, such as EXI 3.0; assessment protocols; context diagnostic; career diagnostic; reporting; ensures timely delivery and effective teaming

  • Works with the Spencer Stuart Technology team to evolve and maintain a global database; analyses data to inform thought leadership or new solutions (together with the Data & Insights lead)

  • Analyses psychometric properties of the tools including reliability, usability, validity; developing or updating technical manuals and user/practitioner guides

  • Supports individual development workstream

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Five or more years of experience in executive assessment, leadership advisory or other professional services settings

  • An advanced degree from a highly competitive university in Organizational psychology or related field

  • Certification or experience using psychometrics, such as Hogan, OPQ or Sova PQ

ADVANTAGEOUS EXPERIENCE

  • PhD in Organizational Psychology or related field

  • Developing or validating assessment tools or other psychometrics

  • Direct interaction or experience with executive-level clients

CRITICAL CAPABILITIES FOR SUCCESS

  • Passion for and expertise in assessments and psychometrics

  • Result-focused, learning-oriented, self-driven, and pro-active

  • Ability to take the lead on, shape, bring structure to and deliver on ambiguous initiatives

  • Great collaborator and relationship builder

  • Strong critical and conceptual thinker

  • Excellent written and spoken knowledge of the English language

PREFERRED CAPABILITIES

  • Proficiency in statistics and use of statistical packages including SPSS and SAS

  • Superior business writing skills, as evidenced through project work or writing samples to be provided upon request.

  • General business acumen, as defined by a keen and quick understanding of a range of business situations/contexts

  • Written and spoken command of additional languages besides English
