As a UL GMA Knowledge Associate, you will:
- Complete comprehensive research reports of global requirements for any products under general supervision and mentorship.
- Provide global regulatory updates, research monitoring and document management of regulatory database.
- Support to interpret requirements to write executive summary reporting of changes and impacts to customers and business.
- Under general supervision and guidance, act as point of contact with authorities/UL partners to obtain and maintain necessary knowledge and regulatory requirements to support research and delivery projects.
- Support to identify new business opportunities by working directly with Authorities/Subcontractors and internal UL stakeholders (GMA, sales and business development contacts within the identified COUs).
- May support establishments or improvement of delivery service paths.
- May act as coordinator for delivering knowledge services to customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive and research reports based on the required regulatory information.
- Provide point-of-access support to address any local acceptance issues under supervision and guidance
- Coordinate research/studies including multiple products, regulations, countries under supervision and guidance
- May act as owner of certain geographic areas or regulations under supervision and guidance
- Cooperate with industries and colleagues to support development GMA knowledge services and customized solutions
- Supports actions related to GMA business expansion scope, track opportunity and business results
- May supervise the day-to-day delivery of high-quality knowledge services under supervision and guidance
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
Preferred skills and competencies
- Bachelor's Degree Engineering, International Relations, or other specialization based on the specific coverage is preferred
- Knowledge of the TIC business
- Experienced and knowledgeable in Cybersecurity and/or Artificial Intelligence Standards and regulations
