Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Account Manager to focus on developing an existing portfolio of clients while driving growth through strategic initiatives. The role emphasizes maintaining strong client relationships, increasing penetration among homeworkers, reactivating dormant accounts, and building a robust pipeline of new clients and opportunities.

You will possess exceptional sales and customer service skills and have the commercial acumen to drive significant growth across all areas including TTV, margin and room nights. Working alongside our Strategic Account Managers, Sales Executives and other internal stakeholders to deliver on your targets, you will also have a good working knowledge of the industry and an eye towards acquisition.

This role is home-based, full-time, and requires a car for occasional travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze client performance to identify growth opportunities and exceed revenue targets.
  • Drive acquisition of new clients and reactivation of dormant accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agent partners.
  • Deliver webinars and campaigns to boost brand awareness and client engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies.
  • Represent HBX Group at industry events and client meetings.
  • Plan and manage your own schedule to meet client needs.
  • Act as the main contact for assigned clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor account performance to prevent churn and maximize profitability.
  • Identify business gaps and generate new opportunities through product promotion and market expansion.

Skillset and Experience Required:

  • Sales Experience: 3+ years in full-cycle sales, specializing in account management and business development.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of travel trade networks and homeworker models.
  • Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to drive growth in TTV, margin, and room nights.
  • Personal Traits: Ambitious, proactive, results-driven, and adaptable in fast-paced settings.
  • Analytical: Data-oriented, tech-savvy, and KPI-focused.
  • Independent: Self-motivated with high accountability.
  • Creative Thinking: Skilled in developing innovative solutions and campaigns.
  • Travel Flexibility: Car required; occasional domestic and international travel.
  • Tools: Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Languages: Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
