Company Description

The Key Account Manager for Midlands & North UK is part of an experienced commercial team of 15 dedicated colleagues. You will develop strong relationships with channel specific end-user group accounts (minimum 5 sites) within Casual Dining & Pubs, Leisure & Hotels, National QSR’s & Education). As a Key Account Manager, you will report directly to the National Account Controller and collaborate closely with various internal teams, including marketing, product management and NPD (New Product Development).

Job Description

As Key Account Manager, you will be a passionate hunter, looking for new business within end user group accounts, whilst managing a portfolio of existing customers including End User groups and wholesalers, to ensure a full push & pull model is created, you will adopt a consultative approach to uncover the unique needs and challenges of with channel specific end user key group accounts, delivering tailored
solutions that reinforce Aviko’s standing as a trusted partner. Your innovative mindset and ability to think
beyond conventional methods will be instrumental in shaping customer-focused strategies.

Furthermore:

  • Lead with Insights: Use consultative selling strategies to deeply understand your customers'
    businesses, proactively identifying pain points and presenting solutions that align with their goals
  • Collaborate on Innovation: Partner with product management and NPD teams to design customer-
    specific product development proposals and bring creative, out-of-the-box ideas to the table that
    push the boundaries of what's possible
  • Build Meaningful Relationships: Create strong connections with key stakeholders across
    accounts, from chefs and food & beverage managers to owners and route-to-market wholesalers,
    becoming their go-to advisor
  • Drive Measurable Outcomes: Strategically manage accounts to deliver robust sales growth and
    exceed targets.
  • Acquire and develop new accounts as well as manage existing relationships

Qualifications

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven professional with a proven ability to engage with clients through consultative selling. You thrive in multidisciplinary teams and can think creatively to solve problems
and capitalize on opportunities.

  • A demonstrated ability to think strategically and explore unconventional ideas to achieve customer
    success and growth.
  • Minimum 2 years working with end user group accounts.
  • Proficiency in identifying and addressing customer needs, utilizing conversations to
    provide tailored solutions.
  • Strong communication and listening skills, with an aptitude for building trust and relationships at all
    organizational levels.
  • Experience in collaborating with diverse internal teams, including marketing, NPD, and operations, to craft and deliver innovative, customer-centric proposals.
  • A creative thinker who sees opportunities where others see challenges and has a knack for problem- solving in unique, impactful ways.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or a related field.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and personal growth, with resilience, tenacity, and follow-
    through.
