Job Description

Join Axis in an exciting sales role within our Northern and Eastern European Sales Region! We are now looking to fill the position of Key Account Manager for North East UK. If you are passionate about pure relationship-driven sales, working in a channel of partners with innovative and qualitative technology – you are exactly what we are looking for!

The Role 

As Key Account Manager (KAM), you will identify new solutions and business opportunities to grow sales within 15–20 key accounts. You’ll develop these accounts through strong partnerships and long-term planning. 

Some key responsibilities:  

  • Develop and grow 15–20 key accounts to meet sales targets. 

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within these accounts. 

  • Work closely with partners to build project pipelines and close deals. 

  • Collaborate with marketing to attract new end-user opportunities. 

  • Create business plans for your accounts, set annual targets, and follow up on KPIs. 

  • Partner with internal teams to design tailored digital transformation strategies. 

  • Drive digital transformation by helping partners and clients connect business needs with innovative, data-driven solutions. 

 

Your Future Team 

You’ll report to Daniel John, Territory Sales Manager - North, and join a team of skilled and motivated colleagues: Key Account Managers, Internal Sales Account Managers, Sales Engineers, and Technical Trainers. You’ll also work closely with marketing to ensure partners receive the right attention. 

 

Who Are We Looking For? 

We’re looking for a self-driven, energetic team player with a strong B2B sales background. You are an excellent communicator, skilled in relationship building, and able to explain complex solutions simply. 

 

We’d like you to have: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales with a proven track record in channel sales. 

  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and adaptability. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. 

  • Advanced MS Office skills: Salesforce experience is a plus. 

  • Willingness to travel weekly within the UK and occasionally to our HQ in Lund, Sweden. 

 

Bonus points for: 

  • Experience in the Security Industry. 

Location: Home office in the North East UK, preferably Leeds/Yorkshire region.
