About the Job

As a Key Account Director for Telco in the T&D team, you will focus on growing revenue, finding new business opportunities and driving market penetration within your accounts. Sales is NielsenIQ’s growth engine which is instrumental for the company’s success.

You will drive the overall sales and renewals for your clients; you will secure a sustainable sales pipeline developing new revenue opportunities while maintaining close customer relationships for existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience in the mobile telecoms sector in a client facing commercial role.

Your Responsibilities 

• Drive sales, renewals and overall growth of your accounts securing sustainable and long-term pipeline, revenue opportunities; while keeping an accurate forecast and maintain C-suite customer relationships.

• Develop a strategic understanding of customer's industry/business/markets/clusters.

• Develop and execute against a comprehensive customer strategy

• Partner with Customer Success and other relevant functions to define strategic Account Plans and remove roadblocks for smooth sales operations

• Drive strategic action plan to tackle Voice of the Customer feedback.

• Cross sell and upsell to new clients and new personas across the full NIQ portfolio

• Seek strategic expansion of customer network and strategic alliances to unlock new budget holders.

• Ensure proactive alignment of NielsenIQ value proposition to customers' needs and trends.

• Utilise commercial and customer KPI’s to drive revenue and increase pipeline

• Develop a positive working environment where success and achievements are recognised and celebrated

You’re a proven commercial executive that can successfully operate within a matrix organisation. You love helping clients grow. You can design the right sales strategies and action plans. You are excited and motivated by the Telco and Tech & Durables industry whilst being comfortable with a variety of data sets – sales data, survey data, digital data etc. You love to contribute to a culture of success and you’re a relentless when it comes to facing challenges and achieving goals. You love dealing with clients and look at how to create common clarity and understanding. You can think on your feet and your experience speaks for itself. Leadership, curiosity, communication, critical and strategic thinking drive your work.

 

Your Qualifications

- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a high growth business

- Experience in the Telco and Tech & Durables industry.

- 7+ years of business consulting or sales or business development

- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as leadership skills
