Key Account Director - Defence
London Victoria - Onsite
Ebury is a global FinTech powerhouse. We don’t just move money; we empower international businesses to trade without boundaries. With a suite of products ranging from complex FX risk management and trade finance to integrated API solutions, we are the strategic engine behind some of the world’s most ambitious firms.
The Role
As a Key Account Director for Defence, you will lead the charge in this high-stakes vertical, navigating C-suite relationships to deliver sophisticated treasury and hedging solutions. The Defence industry operates on long-term cycles, massive capital outlays, and intricate global supply chains and your approach should reflect this. You aren't just hitting targets—you are a role model on our London floor, mentoring the next generation of talent and setting the gold standard for how Ebury dominates the market.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Origination: Identify and onboard Tier-1 prospects within the Defence and Aerospace sectors.
- Solution Architecting: Move beyond "spot trades." You will sell complex FX hedging strategies, cash management, and trade finance solutions tailored to long-cycle defense contracts.
- C-Suite Navigation: Build and leverage high-level relationships with CFOs, Treasurers, and Finance Directors, understanding their specific budgeting and risk appetite.
- Sector Advocacy: Act as the internal "Defence Expert," providing feedback to Product teams to ensure Ebury’s roadmap remains the best-in-class for this sector.
- Excellence in Execution: Maintain a rigorous pipeline via Salesforce, ensuring a culture of data-driven sales and superior relationship management.
Why Ebury?
- Market-Leading Rewards: A competitive base salary with a transparent, uncapped commission structure designed for high-achievers.
- Next-Gen Tech: Access to an advanced product suite, including our proprietary API integrations and multi-currency platforms.
- Global Mobility: Opportunities for international bootcamps and visiting one of our global offices.
- Fast-Track Leadership: A clear growth pathway from individual contributor to a partner in the business.
- Work from our flagship, modern office in London Victoria.
You...
- Understand Defense: You can speak the language of "fixed-price bids," "long-term procurement," and "sovereign risk."
- Are a Master Negotiator: You thrive in high-value negotiations and can articulate complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Are a Culture Carrier: You lead by example, fostering a competitive yet collaborative environment on the sales floor.
- Speak Fluent English (a second language is a bonus).
