The Role...

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Sustainability Manager, known internally as a "Junior House Foundations Manager" to join Soho House.

This role sits in House Foundations, Soho House’s social impact and sustainability programme, within the wider communications team, playing a key role in driving progress across our global portfolio. You will lead the collection, analysis and reporting of sustainability and social impact data, while supporting the delivery of key programmes and ensuring we are prepared for increasing regulatory and stakeholder expectations.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership, ideal for someone who is both analytical and delivery-focused and motivated by creating meaningful impact.

Key responsibilities..

Data, reporting & strategy

  • Lead annual sustainability and social impact data collection across all Soho House sites
  • Analyse performance and track year-on-year progress against key metrics
  • Deliver the 2026 Impact Report, ensuring accurate, clear and engaging reporting
  • Maintain and evolve the House Foundations League Table to drive site-level engagement and performance
  • Manage and update the ESG risk register
  • Use data and insights to identify opportunities for improvement and drive action across the business

Regulations & disclosures

  • Support compliance and reporting across key frameworks, including:
    • Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR)
    • Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS)
    • UK Climate-related Financial Disclosure (CFD)
    • Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)
    • EU energy audits and related actions
    • Emerging regulations (e.g. California Climate Disclosure, CSRD)
  • Coordinate data inputs, timelines and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely submissions
  • Support supplier sustainability initiatives, including Soho Home supplier audits

Social impact programmes

  • Support the launch of new programmes, including:
    • Soho Mentorship in Tokyo and Istanbul
    • Soho Futures Grant
  • Oversee the ongoing delivery and performance tracking of:
    • Soho Mentorship across 23 cities globally
    • Soho Give – team volunteering and charitable donations
  • Lead management of The Soho House Foundation, including:
    • Trustee meetings
    • Annual grant programme
    • Disaster relief grants
    • Annual reporting

Environmental sustainability

  • Support energy efficiency initiatives across new and existing sites
  • Help coordinate the global sustainability training programme
  • Support waste management improvements across Houses
  • Manage carbon data through our reporting platform and support delivery of our decarbonization plan

Engagement & communications

  • Support internal communications to engage teams across Soho House on sustainability and social impact
  • Work closely with General Managers and cross-functional teams to drive participation and performance
  • Contribute to clear, engaging communications that bring House Foundations to life internally

About you

  • Experience in sustainability, ESG, social impact, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
  • Comfortable working across global teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear insights
  • Proactive, solutions-focused and motivated to drive meaningful change
