About the Opportunity

The Supply Forecasting Specialist will work across the Berry Patch to support the UK Supply Forecasting & Planning team with an important role on collecting, reporting and analysing data from the growers forecasts and field visits, to do this well, the Supply Forecasting Specialist will stay in close contact with growers and internal stakeholders on a short and mid-term scope (0-52 weeks). With this data, the department can provide the most accurate information for the best business decisions to support our strategy according to Driscoll’s Mission and Vision, using Driscoll’s values.
This role is within an office (30%) and field visits (70%) environment with occasional travel to other production regions across EMEA.

 Responsibilities

In this role, you will combine field insights with strong analytical capabilities to deliver accurate, data-driven supply forecasts. You will work closely with growers and internal stakeholders to ensure forecasting inputs are reliable, up to date, and continuously improving.

Field Data Collection & Forecasting

  • Conduct weekly field visits to growers

  • Collect production and crop data

  • Analyze crop development and weather impact

  • Develop volume forecasts per grower, farm, variety, and treatment

  • Continuously improve forecast accuracy

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Work extensively with Excel (Advanced level required)

  • Perform statistical analyses

  • Maintain and update forecast databases and planning platforms

  • Support short- and mid-term supply planning processes

  • Identify trends, deviations, and potential risks

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate closely with Growers, Operations, and Supply Chain teams

  • Align with regional teams and forecasting management

  • Share insights to support strategic decision-making

    Candidate Profile

To succeed in this position, you combine a strong analytical mindset with practical agricultural knowledge. You are comfortable working with large datasets, translating numbers into insights, and building strong relationships in both field and office environments.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (with knowledge of Data Analytics & Statistics)
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in horticulture and/or data analysis
  • Affinity with crop science and production processes

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills (critical for success in this role)
  • Intermediate knowledge of statistical data analysis
  • Experience with forecasting or planning systems is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license (frequent on-site work with growers)
  • Strong command of English
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
  • Detail-oriented and structured
  • Comfortable working in both field and office environments
  • Proactive in identifying improvement opportunities
  • Strong collaborator and communicator
