We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Junior Social Media Specialist to join our team. As someone who knows social media inside and out, you will be responsible for managing and executing all social media activities tailored specifically to LinkedIn, and Meta platforms, with a primary focus on LinkedIn. 

Your social media activities will positively enhance brand visibility, audience engagement, and overall promotion of YouGov brand. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (e.g., images, carousels, and videos) across major social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok). 
  • Craft captivating copy for organic social media posts and paid social advertisements that resonate with our audience and drive engagement. 
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure alignment of social media activities with overall marketing objectives and campaigns. 
  • Coordinate social media campaign planning across organic and paid social media. This includes planning content calendar, posting content and analysing content performance. 
  • Research latest social media trends, technologies, and practices, suggesting innovative ways to integrate these into our strategy. 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience as a social media executive / junior social media specialist (2-3 years), with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn and Meta platforms. 
  • Proficiency in creating and optimizing content for social media, including writing engaging copy. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse audiences and stakeholders. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, extract insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize social media performance. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage organic and paid advertising campaigns on LinkedIn, with a track record of driving measurable results and ROI. 
  • Knowledge of social media marketing tools and platforms, including scheduling, analytics, and listening tools. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
