What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, you’ll support the brand's core verticals (Beauty, Fashion, Sustainability, Empowerment, Wellness, and Events) to help carve out a robust social voice for Marie Claire UK that is disruptive and engaging and to grow and retain audiences with community management.

You’ll create and edit shareable content (news, images and video) for use across all social platforms for Marie Claire UK. A key part of this role is scheduling content and shooting, editing and create video content for the Social Media Editor. You will also helping to evolve the brand’s Social Media strategy.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...

  • Journalism Experience
  • Experience with social media and the appetite for creating world class visuals and campaigns
  • An understanding of platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube and Flipboard
  • A finger on the pulse for knowing what works on social media and the latest platform features
  • A sense of what is newsworthy for a brand like Marie Claire UK
  • Media law knowledge
  • 2 years experience for a brand or organisation in a social media or similar role.

This is a Hybrid role from our London Office, working three days from the office, two from home.
