Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

  • Price administration – Supports the management of pricing strategies by product and by segment and assists in managing promotional roadmap.

  • Sales and P&L Analysis – Analyses sales forecasts and monitors sales and marketing investments as needed for maintaining accurate target plans and inventory balance and for achieving business P&L goals

  • Financial Management & Control: Support Product managers to produce and consolidate data from finance/operation systems. Conduct the upload process for the simulated forecast/target data with very thigh schedule.

  • Assists in creating and implementing product marketing plans for a TV category to meet KPIs

  • Conducts competitive market analysis using various systems as well as online research.

  • Works with other product managers to develop promotional content (e.g., presentations, merchandising storyboards, product spec sheets, and product use collateral)

  • To monitor market changes in particular product, pricing and promotion.

  • Product Know How: You will have a real passion for technology and consumer electronics as well as the capability to understand technology features to have credible conversations in the category.

  • Decision Making: Establish alternatives from a rational perspective; Making judgements accurately and on time.

  • Customer Focus: Understand customer needs & desires. Improve customer satisfaction by operating resources and making decisions based on understanding the customer.

  • A great attitude, positive outlook, an ambition to succeed, be resilient and a huge desire to learn in order to make continuous improvement is equally key

What does success look like?

Success after 3 months involves establishing connections, gaining deep knowledge of Samsung processes and mechanisms, demonstrate effective communication skills by addressing requests, while making pitches. By 6 months, the individual should proactively tackle more complex problems, effectively apply problem-solving skills to address root causes and track results. After 12 months, success entails independently driving initiatives and projects within the TV category, bringing to bear a positive rapport with colleagues to achieve business objectives.

The interview process

1st stage- Call with HR to confirm the candidate is right for the role and happy with the role offered

2nd Stage- Head of TV

3rd Stage- Head of TV, and Director of TV/AV PM
