About the job

As a Junior Product Manager at Saxo, you will play a key role in supporting the strategic development of our digital platform, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making. You’ll work at the intersection of commercial growth and client experience—using analytics to identify opportunities, optimise product performance, and shape initiatives that drive revenue, Return on Client Assets (RoCA), client activation, and multi-asset engagement.

You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to the execution of product strategies that support Saxo’s multi-asset platform, which includes Equities, Bonds, ETFs, FX, CFDs, Options (Listed & OTC), and Futures. This is a highly analytical role, best suited for someone who is confident working with large datasets in SQL and Excel and is driven by commercial outcomes.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage SQL and Excel to extract, clean, and analyse platform usage, client behavior, and commercial performance data—translating findings into actionable insights and clear recommendations
  • Support the UK product roadmap with analysis that quantifies opportunity, measures impact, and guides prioritisation
  •  Assist in defining and launching new products and platform features, ensuring they meet local market needs and contribute to KPIs like trading activity, funding, and RoCA
  • Monitor and optimise pricing structures, margin schedules, and product accessibility, using data to support commercial decision-making
  •  Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis, producing well-structured insights that inform strategic direction
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and Platform teams to ensure alignment on product messaging, regulatory obligations, and commercial goals
  • Participate in quarterly planning cycles and target-setting exercises, contributing data-driven input to help prioritise initiatives and align cross-functional teams around shared commercial goals
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and ensure that our trading platforms support and enhance the company’s aspirations in promoting ethical investing practices, regulatory compliance, and customer empowerment

Your profile

We’re looking for a commercially driven and analytically minded individual with 0-3 years of experience in a product, business analyst, or data-focused role within financial or investment services.

You should have proven proficiency in SQL, with the ability to independently write complex queries and extract actionable insights from large datasets. Advanced Excel skills are essential, and familiarity with BI tools is a strong advantage.

A solid understanding of retail investment products and platform KPIs is important, as is your ability to interpret performance data in a commercial context. You’re a clear communicator who can translate analytical findings into meaningful business recommendations, and you thrive in fast-paced environments where prioritising multiple projects is key.

Above all, you’re curious, detail-oriented, and motivated by impact—someone who uses data to solve problems, influence decisions, and drive growth.

We conduct interviews on a continuous basis, so send your application sooner rather than later.

We get curious people invested in the world

When you work at Saxo, you become a Saxonian and part of a purpose-driven organisation, where good ideas are always taken seriously, and where you can make a true impact. We are invested in your development, and you can expect a robust career from day one when you join Saxo – no matter which role you take on.

You will join 2,500 other ambitious colleagues across 15 countries and become part of an international organisation. Working in Saxo, you will get to meet colleagues from many different cultures and backgrounds, and you should know that we value diversity and inclusion and see it as a genuine source of strength to drive growth, foster innovation and position us for long-term success.

We encourage an open feedback culture and supportive team environments enabling employees to grow and fulfil their career aspirations.
