Overall Purpose of Role |

The mission of the Regional Business Unit Product Executive is to support the Product Section Manager in providing data analysis to support vehicle line performance, understanding the product and competitive arena, and facilitating decision making processes with timely and accurate information.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities |

  • Support the Product Section Manager in building a long term product strategy according to lifecycle and performance priorities of the portfolio.
  • Support product presentations and events
  • Product: Propose, create & maintain vehicle specification in line with customer demand and competitiveness requirements 
  • Performance management:
    • Daily order take monitoring
    • Input into annual, quarterly reforecast, monthly and weekly performance management cycle (from Business Plan to  weekly tactical)
    • Propose actions to seize opportunities, countermeasure risks
  • Competitiveness:
    • Monitor competitive customer offers
    • Interrogate residual value and central pricing reports (ViVa, TPVa)
    • Validate Nissan Europe pricing files in line with local direction
  • Availability/Supply:
    • Monitor demand/sales mix performance vs supply
    • Propose countermeasures
  • Incentive Management:
    • Monitor consumer offer uptake and spending vs campaign assumptions
    • Propose countermeasures to risk
  • New Model Launch: Ensure implementation of launch strategy when relevant
  • Liaison, Briefing & Validation:
    • Validate all product communication and brochure assets
    • Provide expert product knowledge/advice as required

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office package
  • Bachelor Degree in business desirable

Mandatory Previous Experience

  • Exposure to either Campaign Planning, Business Planning or Marketing
