We are currently looking for Payroll Specialist with English to join our organisation.

As a Payroll Specialist with English will act as a part of wider Finance Team. The Finance Team at HPE provides world class decision support driving profitable growth and exceptional shareholder value through our commitment to operational excellence, people development, and innovation. We provide accurate and timely financial information meeting the company’s regulatory and fiduciary responsibilities with unwavering integrity. Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.

How you’ll make your mark:

In a typical day as a Payroll Specialist, you would

  • Provide standard to moderately complex financial support that is either transactional or analytical for a financial function or a business
  • Establish and maintain relationships with business leaders to actively ensure basic financial analysis needs are met
  • Handle simple and complex business issues on a routine basis
  • Provide analytical support to business initiatives
  • Develop a deeper understanding of HPE´s financial processes and a detailed knowledge of the business
  • Be actively participating in achieving planned metrics level and other quality goals
  • Work closely with HR/TR/workers council for deploying new policies or running common projects
  • Act as Local HR’s contact for WFR accrual
  • Be responsible for proper legislation changes implementation in the payroll field and for implementing any internal programs/benefits with an impact on employees’ pay

About you:

  • Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen? Good start, you are aligned to our core values!
  • Holding a first level university degree with a focus in business or economics recommended or equivalent experience
  • Excellent in verbal and written communication in English
  • Czech and/or Slovak is an asset but not a requirement
  • Good in understanding accounting processes and principles
  • Very good in analytical skills
  • Mastery in business application skills
