About the Opportunity

The Junior Master Planner plays a vital role in supporting the achievement of Strategic and Supply & Operations Planning (S&OP) targets and objectives, with a strong focus on post-harvest planning. This role ensures inventory is (re)scheduled to meet order fulfillment goals through daily cross-functional alignment between Supply Chain and Sales.
Collaboration with stakeholders across manufacturing, supply chain and sales is essential to ensure the effective execution of the Master Production Schedule (MPS). The Junior Master Planner also facilitates the flow of communication and data between ERP systems and planning tools, supporting the activities of connected Master Schedulers.
In addition to post-harvest planning, the Junior Master Planner is responsible for master planning smaller-scale product categories such as Berry Valley, Organics, Red Currants, Plums and Rhubarb. While these categories are smaller in size and complexity, their planning dynamics are comparable to other berries. Through daily cross-functional alignment with international stakeholders, the Junior Master Planner ensures these plans are created, executed and monitored efficiently, capturing real-time dynamics to maximize value.
The success of this role is measured by critical performance metrics, including order fulfillment, lead-time performance from field to dispatch and inventory fruit age. As part of the Master Planning team—an integral function within the organization—this role directly influences the successful realization of strategic and S&OP objectives through high-quality and effective master plans.
