Your key responsibilities as a Junior Legal Counsel will include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, with a key focus on sales agreements.
- Supporting integration workstreams resulting from global acquisitions.
- Managing supplier agreements and contributing to the automation of contract processes.
- Negotiating with third-party data providers to ensure optimal licensing terms.
- Handling company secretarial tasks and liaising with external providers to ensure compliance.
- Using Salesforce to support the sales process and track contract management workflows.
You will need the following experience and skills to join us as a Junior Legal Counsel:
- You must have a law degree (or GDL) and LPC qualification.
- You will have 1 to 2 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in-house or within private practice.
- You should have strong knowledge of commercial and contract law, with experience in financial services being an advantage.
- You must be highly organised, able to work independently, and skilled at managing multiple time-sensitive matters.
- You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
