🎯 The Role
We're looking for a junior hire to own and expand our internal tooling, primarily Retool dashboards and lightweight development tasks. This is not a traditional developer role: you'll learn on the job, build real tools that impact the business, and grow into someone who can eventually contribute to our admin systems.
The ideal candidate is hungry to learn, passionate about building things, and comfortable experimenting. You don't need years of experience; what matters is curiosity, problem-solving, and the drive to turn ideas into working tools.
🚀 What You’ll Do:
Learn Retool and our database schema through direct training.
Build and maintain dashboards (e.g. chargeback monitoring, financial tracking, ops insights).
Experiment with automation and problem-solving, trial, error, repeat.
Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) to self-learn and speed up development.
Support internal teams by delivering quick wins and improvements to tools.
Progress over time to making minor tweaks in our admin systems and potentially taking full ownership.
👀 Who You Are:
Early-career, graduate-level, or self-taught—what matters is drive, not CV bullet points.
Passionate about building, experimenting, and problem-solving.
Comfortable failing, iterating, and figuring things out independently.
Familiarity with SQL or willingness to pick it up quickly.
Strong logical thinking; good with numbers/maths is a plus.
Creative and strategic mindset, with evidence of this from hobbies/projects (e.g. coding side projects, tinkering with cars, sports leadership, etc.).
