Junior Inbound Account Executive - London - on-site

In this role, you will be responsible for engaging and converting inbound leads (from Marketing), managing the sales process from qualification to close, and effectively communicating the value of the company's solutions to small and medium-sized businesses.


What you’ll do:


  • Client Outreach: Identify and connect with small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in your assigned lead list to introduce SumUp’s products
  • Lead Management: Handle inbound marketing leads, qualify them, and guide them through the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing the deal
  • Persuasive Communication: Deliver clear, engaging product demonstrations and confidently address client questions and concerns to showcase our products' value
  • Pipeline Management: Effectively manage a pipeline of leads through our Salesforce CRM, ensuring consistent engagement and conversion of these leads 
  • Performance Reporting: Regularly report sales figures and updates to the hiring manager and Head of Sales UK & I, ensuring transparency and alignment with team goals

What we’re looking for:


  • Calling Experience: Previous experience in a calling role, with a confident and professional phone manner
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English (written and spoken), with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly with internal and external stakeholders
  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to learn quickly, adapt to a fast-changing environment, and apply analytical skills to solve challenges efficiently
  • Team-Oriented Mindset: A team player with a proactive, "can-do" attitude, enthusiasm, and dedication to achieving shared goals
  • Tech-Savviness: Experience with EPOS software is a strong advantage, alongside advanced Excel knowledge to support data-driven decision-making.
