Job Description

As demand is growing across key infrastructure sectors, Ramboll Transport & Infrastructure is looking for a motivated Transport Business Development Coordinator to support growth across our transport portfolio. This is an excellent early‑career opportunity to learn commercial development, support high‑profile bids and build relationships across clients and delivery teams.

What you’ll do

  • Support the Transport and Infrastructure Market Lead and wider team to identify and develop new opportunities
  • Maintain and update the pipeline/CRM and help keep our orderbook accurate and up to date
  • Carry out market and competitor research, identify trends and flag emerging opportunities
  • Coordinate and contribute to bids and framework submissions (document preparation, compliance checks, version control, schedules)
  • Help prepare client materials and proposals, working with technical teams to capture value and key messages
  • Support account management activities and help maintain strong client contacts
  • Attend client meetings and industry events alongside senior colleagues, and represent Ramboll where appropriate
  • Provide general administrative support to the market team to help deliver winning opportunities

Who we’re looking for

  • 4-5 years’ experience in business development, commercial support, bid coordination or a similar role within transport or broader infrastructure — graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome
  • Good understanding of infrastructure project lifecycles and common procurement routes (desirable)
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Comfortable working with technical teams and translating technical input into clear client‑facing material
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with CRM or bid‑management tools is a plus
