Treatwell is seeking a Junior Financial Accountant to join our Group Finance team, supporting day-to-day financial operations and playing a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who is currently studying towards a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) and eager to gain hands-on exposure to a multi-entity, international business environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assist with the preparation of group consolidated statutory financial statements under IFRS, including disclosure notes
  • Support the year-end audit process by preparing and providing relevant supporting documentation
  • Contribute to the production of statutory accounts across the wider group under local GAAP, including assisting in the preparation of trial balances, calculation of statutory adjustments, liaison with in-country advisors, and ensuring all filing deadlines are met
  • Assist with the completion of group tax returns in line with all relevant filing deadlines
  • Support other areas of compliance and reporting, including VAT returns
  • Assist with the month-end close process, maintaining accurate accounting records through completion of balance sheet reconciliations across the group
  • Collaborate with the wider finance team on project and non-business as usual workstreams
  • Provide support on ad hoc tasks and initiatives as required

Requirements

About you:

  • 1–3 years' experience in an accounting or finance role, whether in industry or practice
  • Currently studying towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (part-qualified preferred)
  • Strong foundation in accounting principles. Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage
  • Bright, ambitious and detail-oriented, with high personal standards
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present workpapers clearly and concisely
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to build effective relationships across commercial, financial and legal functions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
