Responsibilities

As a core member of the finance team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial insight and partnering with teams across the business. Key responsibilities include:

    • Leading the budgeting and forecasting cycles for stated areas of responsibility, working closely with budget holders to gather assumptions and present clear outputs.

    • Undertaking cash flow analysis and scenario modelling to support strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborating with non-finance stakeholders to understand commercial drivers and provide actionable insight.
    • Developing, improving, and maintaining models in Excel or Google Sheets – including control checks, user guides, and version management.
    • Reviewing month-end financials, including accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis.
    • Providing financial support for ad hoc projects, new initiatives, and business cases.
    • Playing an active role in fostering a resilient, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment and brings a strong mix of technical capability, commercial awareness, and proactive energy. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Part or fully qualified in a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles, including accruals, prepayments, and cash flow.
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), with involvement in budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting.
  • A sound commercial understanding and an ability to pragmatically balance financial and commercial outcomes.
  • A desire to work in fast-moving, ever-changing and unstructured environments, with shifting priorities.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills and experience working with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills, with the ability to build well-structured, scalable models. Experience in Airtable is a bonus.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity, alongside the pragmatism to operate in grey areas where needed.
  • A keen ability to take ownership of problems and be solution focussed.
  • A self-starter mindset, curious, solutions-focused, and comfortable working with limited guidance.
  • Energy, resilience, and enthusiasm, someone who genuinely wants to make a difference and improve how things are done.
  • Experience in esports, events, entertainment, media or another adjacency is favourable but not essential.

  • Competitive salary package
  • Enhanced parental leave
  • Pension and Health Insurance
  • Awesome central office in the centre of London
  • Team building and social events
