The MMB team provides consulting to UK corporate clients who require a consultative and holistic approach to benefits consultancy and delivery. We are seeking a Junior Employee Benefits Consultant to join our team, an excellent opportunity for individuals who have initiated their careers in the Employee Benefits sector and are now prepared to transition into a consulting role.

This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to work both in the office and also be out meeting clients face-to-face. This role can be based out of London, Birmingham or Chichester.

We will count on you to:

  • Support client meetings alongside aligned consultants, taking minutes and following up on action items.
  • Manage a small portfolio of low complexity clients, overseeing their benefits management and renewal cycles.
  • Assist in the preparation of partnership reports, presentations, and RFP proposals.
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities and track contract renewals and project progress.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and providers to ensure excellent service delivery and client satisfaction.

What you need to have:

  • Experience working within employee benefits, ideally with 3-4 years in a related role (administration or consulting).
  • Strong account management skills and experience in a sales or consulting environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with good presentation abilities.

What makes you stand out:

  • Experience in either protection or healthcare benefits (private medical, group risk, group life, etc.).
  • Achieved CII Certification or higher is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, confident, and adaptable with a personal accountability mindset.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to manage a sales pipeline effectively.

Join us at MMB and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional benefits consultancy to leading companies in the UK. If you are ready to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you!

Why join our team:

  • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.
  • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.
  • Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.
