Real Chemistry is looking for a Junior Editor to join our growing team!
At ROOM42 (we are 21GRAMS' in-house production company) we are on the lookout for someone passionate about growing a career in post-production, who takes pride in their work, loves attention to detail and enjoys being part of a team.
You will be a superstar video editor who helps us create engaging content that includes motion graphics, for health brands. You will also need to bring a level of professionalism and confidence to interactions with clients and interviewees during virtual video recording sessions, ensuring they feel at ease and the process runs seamlessly.
Whether you're helping us deliver a killer final cut, adding flair with stunning motion graphics, or keeping production running smoothly behind the scenes… from one day to the next this job will push you to grow as a creator.
You’ll be joining our team of talented editors & animators, working across a wide range of clients and projects, so two days will rarely be the same! One day you could be bringing next-level graphics to life for social, and the next helping fine-tune an emotional longform documentary.

What you’ll do:

Cutting social media and web content based on approved scripts/storyboards/creative briefs

Creating reels, case films, and other video content for pitches, as needed

Assisting our senior animators with motion graphics

Facilitating virtual video recording sessions, ensuring participants feel comfortable and the technical setup is smooth. You'll guide interviewees (and occasionally clients) through the process, troubleshoot issues, and oversee the recording to ensure high-quality results

Maintaining freshness, creative excellence, and a level of innovation that will uphold and improve the quality of our work

Brainstorming new ideas with the team, throwing in some of your own, and learning how to make them come to life!

What you should have:

2+ years of industry-relevant experience

Proficiency in editing & motion graphics (Premiere Pro & After Effects)

Experience with Davinci Resolve & Cinema4D is ideal but not essential

A portfolio of work to showcase your skills, passion and creativity

Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail

Adaptability and flexibility with strong prioritization skills

Interest In the marketing/advertising industry and media
