VSI works across a wide range of media sectors from streaming platforms, traditional broadcast television, theatrical releases and gaming. 

Summary

Our Marketing Localisation team works with leading entertainment brands to adapt trailers, promos, teasers, key art, and other marketing materials for international markets. We are now expanding the team and seeking a Junior Business Development Manager. This position suits someone early in their commercial career who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, and supporting senior colleagues across the sales cycle.

You will help identify new opportunities, support outreach, prepare materials for pitches, and coordinate closely with production teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the identification of new business leads across entertainment, media, gaming, and agency sectors
  • Assist with outreach, initial conversations, quoting and relationship-building activities
  • Prepare research, background notes, and pitch materials for meetings and proposals
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM tools and monitor progress of active leads
  • Join senior team members during client calls, presentations, and industry events
  • Help coordinate the sales handover process with project managers and operational teams
  • Contribute to simple sales plans and activity reports, including monthly summaries
  • Support cross-selling efforts by understanding the range of marketing localisation services offered by VSI
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity and share relevant insights with the team

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience in business development, sales support, or account coordination, ideally within localisation or a related creative field
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable speaking with clients and representing the team professionally
  • Good organisational habits and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with CRM tools or a willingness to learn (e.g., Pipedrive, Sales Navigator)
  • Interest in marketing localisation and an understanding of cultural and linguistic considerations
  • A proactive working style, with the confidence to take initiative when needed

Desirable skills

  • Exposure to entertainment, gaming, media, or agency environments
  • Understanding of transcreation, creative translation, or multimedia localisation
  • Experience supporting pitch preparation or proposal writing
