Junior Brand Manager

 (Internal title - Associate Customer Marketing)

•            Location:  Frimley, Surrey

•            Function:  Marketing

Overview

This role is responsible for working with the Customer Marketing Manager, Sales team and other stakeholders to ensure best-in-class execution of the Customer Marketing programs, to meet business objectives in terms of sales, profit and share.  Key to this will be working with the local sales team to identify customer priorities and insights as partnering with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Cooperate with the Manager in ensuring Trade Bundles, Base and New Products news developed by the Platform
  • Supports the local sales team in presenting launch plans and preparing the annual business plans for key strategic partners
  • Assistance the Sales Team with the execution of pricing plans
  • Presents to all major customers in Brand Days at least two cycles per year
  • Participates in the E-Com strategy for the Brand
  • Executes Special Pack plans consistent with agreed guidelines and principles
  • Works with category management and sales to ensure all distribution and display initiatives are timely and properly executed for the defined category.
  • Ensure excellence in sales execution at POS
  • Supports the Associate Manager, Customer Marketing in the development of the promotional guidelines, equity deployment and monitoring.
  • Develop, execute and monitor promotions (pre and post) in collaboration with Sales and Finance.
  • For the defined category tracks distribution performance, competitive activities and inventory (with PS) management.

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Degree level education or equivalent
  • Having completed a Graduate role in Marketing or Category having worked with the UK market at FMCG level
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral
  • Proficient Microsoft Office, experience in Nielsen data is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and to the Regional HQ in Switzerland
  • Valid driving license, with ability to drive to customer meetings and do regular store checks
  • Mobility to work internationally. At least Switzerland.
