Job Brief:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance team in Amman. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, ensure accuracy in financial records, and assist in maintaining smooth and efficient financial processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable
- Generate and issue invoices to corporate clients or partners.
- Track and reconcile incoming payments, ensuring timely collection.
- Maintain accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
Accounts Payable
- Verify and process vendor invoices accurately and on time.
- Ensure proper approvals and documentation for all expenses.
- Maintain vendor records and resolve payment discrepancies or disputes.
General Accounting
- Record accurate financial entries in Microsoft Dynamics Navision and QuickBooks, ensuring all supporting documents are attached.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations.
- Prepare and organize accounting documents as needed for audits or internal reviews.
Bank Reconciliation
- Reconcile company bank accounts regularly.
- Investigate, identify, and resolve discrepancies found in bank statements.
- Maintain proper documentation for all banking transactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
- Good command of English communication, both written and verbal.
- Hands-on experience with Navision and/or QuickBooks is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial recording practices.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
