Junior Accountant

We are currently looking for a Junior Accountant to support local accounting needs as part of our centralised EMEA FP&A function, this role will be located in the UK and traveling may form part of this role.  

We are seeking a highly team oriented, highly organised and detail-oriented professional who is looking to further develop themselves in a passionate and dynamic company. 

We offer personal development to be able to fulfill a key role in our finance team and to be a part of the unique Specialized culture.  

 

How you will make a difference: 

  • Posting journal entries 

  • Preparing financial statements  

  • Maintaining accounts, receivables, payables. 

  • Recording all financial transactions daily 

  • Issuing payment invoices and receipts to clients 

  • Preparing and submitting periodic financial reports to management 

  • Performing account reconciliations 

  • Processing income statements, balance sheets and other management account reports, under the supervision of your line manager 

  • Reviewing expenditures of the company, such as payroll and petty cash expenses 

  • Assisting with asset audits, as necessary 

  • Assisting with other accounting tasks, as assigned by a supervisor 

 

What you need to win: 

  • Working towards a business administration or finance qualification 

  • 1 years’ experience in similar role 

  • European language skills would be an advantage 

  • Experience with financial closings 

  • Experience with Oracle Finance is an advantage 

  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail and solution-oriented 

  • A sport mentality is a big plus, but affinity with the world of cycling even more! 

  • Proactive, self-assured, looking for continuous improvement 

  • Good work ethic and a team player  

  • Ambitious, not afraid to get stuck in
