Responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of journal entries, invoices and bill payments and maintaining updated financial records.
- Reconciliation of bank balances.
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
- Assistance with the preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting workings.
- Assistance with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results analysis and commentaries production.
- Assistance with the preparation of periodic regulatory reports.
- Assistance with the preparation of audit deliverables, financial statements, and Board packs.
- Assistance with financial projections.
- Assistance with improving and standardizing processes and workflows.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the finance function and general accounting
Contribute towards ad-hoc projects to support the finance function.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' relevant working experience is a requirement. (if gained in a reputable accounting or audit firm this would be considered an asset.)
- Conversant with IFRS accounting principles coupled with experience in financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong practical experience in Excel.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal.
- Able to work diligently and on own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Ability to learn quickly and has a proven history in problem analysis.
- Be based in the UK and be flexible to work from our office in London at minimum once every fortnight.
