The Role

DB Technology is a global team of tech specialists, spread across multiple trading hubs and tech
centres. We have a strong focus on promoting technical excellence – our engineers work at the
forefront of financial services innovation using cutting-edge technologies.
Trade Finance and Lending technology architecture strategy has just begun a front-to-back modernisation, moving away from manual, ops heavy monolithic architecture to a cloud compliant, API driven, component and re-usable technology stacks. You will be joining our development pod as a Java Developer. You and your team will be focused on delivering key applications for the business. The software components and architecture which you will be contributing towards, will create the foundations to build and extend the wider trade finance
application landscape, as well as making Trade Finance and Lending a flag ship implementation within Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Banking business.

SKILLS YOU'LL DEVELOP

• T-Shaped Skill Set: become the go-to person for your technical specialism in addition to building on your collaborative skills to understand and empathise with other tech roles and stakeholders
• Technical Leadership: you'll develop your technical professional skills across mentoring, teamwork, stakeholder communication, and technical decision-making to put you on the pathway to senior individual contributor or technical management roles.
• Agility & Automation: taking part in modern software development process, you'll further develop your Agile, DevOps and automation skills, deploying to the cloud.
