About the department
The Information Technology Product group is responsible for setting the direction and priorities for Cloudflare enterprise business systems. Our Product Managers partner with all functional teams across Cloudflare to define capabilities that enable us to grow, service our customers & provide reliable platforms for all employees.
What you'll do
We are seeking an IT Product Manager, ERP System to lead a variety of core business systems initiatives within Cloudflare. The IT Product Manager will serve as a "trusted advisor," the strategic interface between a variety of Finance business areas and the Enterprise Applications team with the focus on business technology strategy development, requirements discovery, risk and service management. The IT Product Manager will be the part of the transformation group supporting the internal ERP business systems, having a holistic view of the end-to-end process from a systems point of view. The IT Product Manager will proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units. The candidate will partner with business leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities and identify and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria.
Responsibilities:

  • ERP System Ownership: Serve as the primary product owner and point of contact for ERP systems (Oracle), including but not limited to modules such as Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements, translating them into clear and actionable technical specifications.
  • Product Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap for ERP systems, aligning with overall business objectives and prioritizing initiatives based on strategic value.
  • Technology and Technical Leadership: Drive the technology strategy for ERP systems, including evaluating new technologies, recommending upgrades, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices. Collaborate closely with Engineering and Enterprise Systems teams to provide technical leadership and guidance, ensuring adherence to standards, best practices, and optimal system performance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • IT Governance: Adhere to IT governance processes, including change management, incident management, and security protocols.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Sr. Technical Program Manager to plan, execute, and monitor the successful rollout of ERP system implementations, ensuring alignment between technical delivery and business objectives.
  • System Optimization and Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to improve system responsiveness and efficiency.
  • User Training and Support: Develop and deliver user training programs, provide ongoing support, and address user issues and inquiries.

  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate teams, build consensus, and influence decision-making.
