Duties & Responsibilities:

The Help Desk Engineer position at Lincoln International provides an excellent opportunity to work in a demanding and dynamic IT environment. A Help Desk Engineer at Lincoln International will be given the opportunity to hone their PC hardware and software troubleshooting skills while gaining experience with advanced technical challenges of a multi-office international network. The Help Desk Engineer will serve as the help desk for Lincoln International employees and provide day to day maintenance and support of all end user systems including Windows based notebook and desktop PCs, telephones, mobile devices (iPhone/iPad/Android/etc), and a variety of other software and business systems. The Help Desk Engineer will be responsible for the following duties:

  • 1st call help desk support for approximately 1.000 employees across multiple offices
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software
  • Configure and deploy new hardware and software
  • Interface with technical support from vendors and suppliers
  • Provide support to IT management
  • Oversees and upkeeps all audio visual equipment in managed spaces
  • Ensures that AV systems have the latest firmware and software installed, updating as necessary
  • Working hours are 9am to 6pm M-F
  • Help Desk Engineer will participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24x7 support

Qualifications:

The Help Desk Engineer position at Lincoln International is challenging, offers an excellent learning experience and provides a solid foundation upon which an individual can build a future IT career. Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:  

  • Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in IT
  • A successful Help Desk Engineer is self-motivated, can manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and is detail oriented
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Should have a degree in MIS or significant related experience
  • Experience with Poly, Zoom and current AV technology preferred
  • Knowledge of modern audio-visual concepts and equipment, including excellent troubleshooting ability
