Job Description:

This position will be part of Mars Global Services that supports Mars business across all segments in Europe time zone.

This is a key role in Information Technology applications - Finance Core, in Business Delivery Services (BDS) team for Finance applications. Responsible for local and global application service management to improve support Quality and Efficiency, identify opportunities, bringing solution proposals, developing stakeholder strategy being the guardian of KPIs and processes.


What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Service management:
    • Support team and Vendor management: Measuring their deliverables to guarantee the KPIs and proposing improvements, responsible for SOW, cost control and cost plans and strategy.

    • Stakeholder management: Connect with Mars business stakeholders, building network, and identify opportunities focusing on the Customer experience. Engaging Key Users, FEs and business stakeholders.

    • Service management strategy: Constantly work to identify opportunities to operation, process, application communication to provide a high level of experience to attend BDS IT area objectives.

    • Operation Excellence: Work to guarantee Mars IT Operations targets adherence.

    • Crisis management: Be responsible for leading critical incidents connecting the proper teams on the resolution and provides status and follow up communication.

    • Cost & Control: Review contracts, licenses, work with Mars commercial team to align about contract terms, signatures and PO creation.

    • Accountability: Per Application lifecycle in the area of responsibility (support, invest, upgrade, retire), Accountability per global communications around your portfolio (Internal - IT and external - business stakeholders). Work with other teams globally (applications, platform, infrastructure), regionally and locally to ensure global coverage is provided and excellence shared.

  • Team Activities:
    • Will help with IT Finance app team activities for the whole tower, leading and connecting to initiatives for Finance Core Tower.

  • Projects:
    • Will be required to participate in projects for service support handover – from Project to business as usual (BAU) operation and other activities when needed

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in IT Service Team, or business IT role (such as Key User or Functional expert)

  • SAP FI knowledge (to manage the services delivering through other teams).

  • Project management is a plus.

  • Knowledge and support ability with Finance apps (Invoice to cash / Invoice to Pay and Travel and expense applications) and End to End process flow.

  • Very good communication skills to work with different levels of stakeholders.

  • Standalone: Managing services and delivering the team objectives, creating activities and work in a global team that includes to report to a manager outside their region or location, with a low level of support from the team.

  • Team player: Capable to help and interact with the team providing guidance or helping with other team members activities when required.

  • Plans and aligns: Capable to draft action plan, provide updates and communicate accordingly.

  • Ability to work effectively in a flexible and changing environment & manage multiple activities and priorities.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (Oral and Written)

  • Exposure to following technologies is a plus for the role: Microsoft Server Infrastructure, SSO, SAP VIM (Vendor Invoice management), Mobile Expense, High Radius, interfaces to ERP, SAP Finance.
