We are looking for an IT Engineer/Tester to join our team at Ericsson. In this role, you will test, administer, and troubleshoot customer application systems across multiple domains. You will be part of a customer-focused team delivering services based on business needs. The position involves manual test case design and execution, tracking both functional and non-functional scenarios, and ensuring a high-quality end-to-end user experience. Your work will contribute to software performance, reliability, efficiency, and scalability. The role may be performed on customer premises or remotely.
What you will do
- Design IT test cases and analyze functional scenarios.
- Develop performance test scripts, conduct performance tests, and perform unit testing.
- Execute IT test cases, report results using designated tools, prepare and verify test environments, and run automated performance tests.
- Troubleshoot IT applications, validate test data and scenarios, document defects, and follow up with development teams.
- Manage defect tracking activities, including opening, retesting, and closing defects within SDLC workflows.
- Analyze test results, ensure alignment with client expectations, and share key metrics with the customer.
You will bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer, IT, or Telecom Engineering.
- 2-3 years of proven software testing experience.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
- Strong presentation, communication, and knowledge-sharing skills.
- Critical thinking and commercial understanding.
