The Endpoint Systems Manager (ESM) is responsible for Dynatrace endpoints including but not limited to laptops, desktops, mobile devices and cloud PC's. This position will supervise engineers working on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS/Android platforms to ensure systems are regularly being updated and secured to corporate standards. ESM will work closely with corporate security and EDE senior leadership to implement new technologies to evolve our ability to manage and secure over 10,000 devices.

The Endpoint Systems Manager (ESM) is responsible for Dynatrace endpoints including but not limited to laptops, desktops, mobile devices and cloud PC's. This position will supervise engineers working on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS/Android platforms to ensure systems are regularly being updated and secured to corporate standards. ESM will work closely with corporate security and EDE senior leadership to implement new technologies to evolve our ability to manage and secure over 10,000 devices.
Responsibilities
- Manage system engineer staff in endpoint team. This includes: mentoring staff, task management, performance management, peer reviewing changes, performing regular 1:1's and leading projects related to departmental objectives.
- Analyze the existing endpoint management solutions across Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS systems. Drive enhancements to automate software deployments/updates, security configuration and environment improvements.
- Work closely with corporate security and EDE senior leadership creating policies and procedures to ensure that end user devices that connect to the Dynatrace network meet security and compliance standards. Participate in audits and remediation efforts as needed.
- Partner with Technical Services team to identify and improve onboarding processes, build processes and procedures. Identify and solve problems at scale. Regularly meet with team on new efforts and discuss changes that will improve our end user experience.
- Responsible for evaluating and developing possible candidates from Technical Services, working with Director of Infrastructure on hiring forecasts, creating job descriptions and hiring new staff as needed.
- Design solutions that maximize the best possible user experience
- Work closely with other managers collaborate on initiatives, create necessary documentation and perform necessary training to other groups.
- Provide client device purchasing budget plan to balance device reliability, business functionality, security and costs.
- Establish and maintain client software, hardware and peripheral standards globally.
- Liaise with vendors and Technical Services to deliver global solutions that meet Dynatrace business requirements
- Maintain knowledge base to document solutions to known problems and internal procedures.

- Strong technical skills and communication skills.
- Ability to concisely summarize a problem and recommended actions.
- Significant experience with Microsoft Intune
- 5+ years' experience in a management role.
- Previous experience with managing large device deployments.
- Excellent time management skills.
