Job Description Summary
External Workforce Management (EWM) IT Business Partner is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of digital solutions for External Workforce Management EWM. This role will serve as a strategic partner for EWM Business team, ensuring that IT initiatives align with business goals and objectives. The EWM IT Business Partner will focus EWM technology landscape (SAP Fieldglass, SAP S4, Workday, Ariba, Snow, PowerBI) and will work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business value.
Job Description
Major accountabilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of digital solutions focusing on External Workforce Management (EWM) ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Collaborate closely with the EWM GPO, EWM team, to continuously improve the implementation of solutions, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing strategic advice and ensuring alignment between IT and business priorities.
- Manage the respective demand & project delivery for areas in EWM, ensuring cost-effective delivery of IT services and solutions.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Ensure compliance with Novartis financial policies and procedures.
- Implement best practices to streamline project delivery and strengthen vendor collaboration
- Build and nurture strong relationships with vendors to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Drive forward thinking and innovation within business to tech driven business capabilities and processes, leading conversation with consulting mindset together with other TT functions
- Accountable for Program, project & product delivery to the business Partner with Business to drive Business transformation Programs enabled by technology, co-own transformation outcomes
Key performance indicators:
- Successful delivery and operations of standardized DDIT solutions for the Novartis External Workforce Capability, that are well aligned to the business strategy and global DDIT Strategy.
- KPls which are relevant for customer satisfaction are clearly defined, constantly measured, and met.
- Meeting yearly budget target for DDIT projects and operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading and implementing process improvements in an IT or software development environment.
- In-depth knowledge of project and product delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
- Strong understanding of governance structures, performance metrics, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
- Proficient in using project management tools and software.
- Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams and successfully delivering projects.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all level
