Objective

To work on agreed audits of Information Technology throughout the Group and Regions covering all aspects of IT, including infrastructure, cyber security, projects, cloud solutions and applications; reviewing and where necessary, recommending appropriate changes to policies, procedures, practices and controls. 

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • Lead IT Audits ranging from technical to general IT process reviews such as Cyber Security, Networks, Firewalls, Azure Cloud, Datacentres, Voice & Telephony, Cloud, to Disaster Recovery, Third Party Management, Identity and Access Management, Change Management. The auditor will be responsible for planning the audit, field work testing, control evaluation, audit report drafting, and follow-up and verification of issue closure.
  • Assist the France, Belgium, and Monaco (FBM) business auditors on IT related matters in business audit assignments.
  • Identify solutions and recommendations to mitigate risks identified and strengthen internal controls.
  • Attend meetings to agree action on audit findings and recommendations.
  • Draft concise audit issues and reports.
  • Liaise with French speaking IT stakeholders from the FBM business.
  • Assist in both the risk assessment and development of IT audit plan.
  • Accountable for meeting deliverables and adhering to department standards.
  • Where required, offer advice and recommendations to the IT function when developing or implementing systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving technology changes and market events impacting technology processes.

Professional Experience

  • Fluent French speaker is mandatory
  • Minimum of 7 years IT Audit Technical experience
  • Qualified IT Auditor (CISA or CISM or CISSP)
  • Ideally degree qualified (though not essential)
  • Financial services experience preferable

Skills Required.

  • Ability to build professional relationships that add value to the “client”
  • Understanding of the business context and specialist knowledge of systems and IT infrastructure within a Microsoft environment
  • Excellent inter-personal skills to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels
  • Ability to plan, organise, prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines
  • A positive and flexible attitude with the ability to demonstrate initiative, attention to detail and reliability
  • Good team working skills
