Role: IT Analyst (18 Month FTC)

Location: London, England, United Kingdom (Required on-site 5 x days per week)


ROLE MISSION

As an Apprentice IT Support Analyst, you will join our IT Support team to provide first-line technical assistance to internal users across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in IT, gain hands-on experience, and develop core technical and customer service skills.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets, emails, and calls promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with new starter setups, including device configuration and account provisioning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common technical problems under supervision.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior analysts or relevant teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions in the ITSM system.
  • Support routine maintenance tasks and system updates.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security and data protection policies.

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • Basic understanding of IT systems, hardware, and software.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and developing technical skills.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths; A-levels or equivalent desirable.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Windows operating systems is a plus.
